What it is
The EDiX® toolset is an application interface (a data transfer facility) for bridging HP TurboImage and Image/SQL databases with EDI (MPE) transmission files. EDiX® can be used to load or unload MPE flat files containing record types with EDI and database conversion structures, formats and layouts.
What it isn't
The EDiX® toolset does not require MANMAN DATAPORT or any other interface product for MANMAN. The EDiX® toolset is not an inflexible, hardcoded interface program. The EDiX® toolset is not an EDI file translator.
What it does
The EDiX® toolset is an application interfacing environment that enables your organization to define which fields in your trading partner's system map to the relevant fields in your MANMAN ERP system.
Why you need it
The EDiX® toolset was designed specifically to handle EDI for MANMAN users. Interfacing MANMAN to EDI is a complicated task because there are so many different data maps, partner requirements and disperate systems.
